About the Project
ASHRAE is starting a new program to provide technical and financial support for sustainable projects in the cities where Society
meetings take place, beginning with the 2008 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake. The goal of this program is to leave a legacy demonstrating
ASHRAE's comittment to sustainability and to offset the environmental impact from holding the Annual Meeting. The Utah
ASHRAE host committee came up with the idea of installing solar panels to assist with the generation of domestic hot water for the
installation work for the solar-assisted domestic hot water system. Many others have contributed financially to this project. Please
